Why it runs locally

Toolbit has no backend. The QR Code Generator is implemented with standard browser APIs, so your input is processed in the tab and never uploaded, logged, or retained. That is what makes it safe to paste real data into — and it is also why the tool keeps working with the network disconnected, once you have installed Toolbit as an app.

Frequently asked questions

Is my WiFi password sent anywhere?
No. The code is rendered in your browser from the values you type. Nothing is transmitted, which matters a great deal for credential QR codes.
Which error correction level should I pick?
Level M is a good default. Use Q or H if the code will be printed small, placed on a curved surface, or partly covered by a logo.
Can I get a vector file?
Yes. SVG export scales cleanly for print.
